ST GEORGE'S, February 22, 2012 - LIME Grenada and the Government Information Service (GIS) have teamed up once again to stream a sporting activity Live from the National Stadium.
The international football friendly between Grenada and Guyana on Wednesday February 22 will be available for live viewing especially for football fans in the Diaspora from 7:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. ET).
This collaborative effort was first materialised on Saturday February 18 when the two (2) entities brought seven (7) hours of live coverage of the KFC National Relay Meet from the National Stadium.
The GIS production team will be headed by Hildebrand James while Thomas "Berry" John, Paul Phillip and Dominic Julien are the IT specialists from LIME Grenada powering the stream from the National Stadium.
The game on Wednesday is important for both Grenada and Guyana. Grenada is attempting to regroup following an early exit from the World Cup qualifiers and another disappointing campaign in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Tournament while Guyana is preparing for the next phase of the World Cup qualifying tournament.
However, they lost their most recent friendlies against St Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago's Under-23 team.
It’s also the debut of former national captain Anthony Modeste as Head Coach of the Grenada team.
