The family recently lost one of its members Gabriella Mc Meo, who was
a nursing student on a Government of Grenada Scholarship in Cuba. Gabriella died
on Monday January 30th, 2012 in Cuba.
“We ask the general public to keep Ms. Meo’s family in your prayers as
they journey through this difficult period”, says Permanent Secretary with
responsibility for Human Resource Development Ms. Eunice Sandy-David.
Gabriella is the second nursing student on government scholarship to
have died.
Rosemarie Mitchell of Grand Anse, St. George died about one year ago
of cancer.
