ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, February 14,
2011 - Grenada's Pro-Netballer Lottysha 'Timmy' Cato continues to
be too much for the defensive arm of any team in the Netball Super league to
contain. In her most recent game on home court at the Sports Wales National
Centre in Cardiff on Tuesday, Timmy and her fellow teammates of the Celtic
Dragons defeated Glasgow Wildcats 55-32.
Dragons' coach was elated about this
home win, she was reported as saying that "Timmy was outstanding, I felt
sorry for Wildcats goalkeeper, but it meant I was able to get my other shooters
on today. She’s an absolute ripper."
Mary Tough, the assistant coach of
Glasgow Wildcats said that Timmy was a huge challenge for her circle defenders
and that was the major advantage for the Dragons.
To date no team has been able to find
a defensive strategy to combat Timmy's height and accuracy. Currently she has a
shooting average of 84% and is in the running for the most accurate shooter
title. This is Timmy's first time playing in the Netball Super league and her
contracted team Celtic Dragons is very pleased with her exceptional performance
thus far.
Celtic Dragons is scheduled to play
Team Northumbria on February 19th.
