ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, May 9, 2011– Opportunities
have become available for Grenadians to pursue studies in Venezuela at the
Undergraduate levels through the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation, an
institution under the umbrella of the Ministry of People Power of Science,
Technology and Intermediate Industries.
Scholarships are being offered to
Grenadian nationals to pursue studies toward achieving Bachelor and Associate
Degrees commencing the academic year 2011.
Available areas of study – taught in
Spanish – include Integrate Communitarian Medicine and Food Engineering at the
Bachelor level and Tourism at the Associate and Bachelor levels and covers full
tuition, return airfare accommodation, meals, medical service and a monthly
allowance.
Applicants must be 18 years or older,
unmarried and should be a high school graduate for less than five years. In
the case of medical studies and other specialties, applicants must not be older
than 24 years of age.

accessed through the Human Resource Development Division and Scholarship Desk
at the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development.
Fully completed application forms
must reach the Scholarship Desk no later than Monday 6th June
2011.
