RGPF: Man facing charge of attempted murder


ST GEORGE’S, March 14, 2012 – Grenada Police have charged Michael St. Louis, a 26 year-old resident of Fontenoy, St. George with attempted murder after he allegedly used a flare gun to shoot another man.
The incident reportedly occurred following an altercation stemming from a gambling game outside a Club commonly known as “The Peas” at the Fence, in Happy Hill, St. George sometime after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday 10th March, 2012.
The victim, Miguel Timothy Baptiste, 37 years-old resident of Happy Hill, St. George was shot in his abdomen which resulted in him seeking medical attention at the General Hospital.
St. Louis has been granted bail in the sum of thirty-thousand dollars with two sureties and is due to appear before the St. George’s Magistrate Court on May 15th, 2012.
