GERMANY, July 23, 2010 - Grenada's ace triple jumper Randy Lewis has added his own congratulations to World Junior 400 metres champion Kirani James.
James won the 400m at the World Junior Championships in Athletics Moncton, Canada on Thursday.
Lewis, who is based in Germany and has been having a very good season in the IAAF Diamond League, said that Kirani's performance is a testimony on the ability of our young athletes.
"I just want to congratulate Kirani James on a really outstanding season this year," Lewis said in a statement issued on Friday.
"He is continuing to keep the flag flying high where others have left off."
Lewis is preparing to join compatriots for the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in Puerto Rico.
