Video - Rondell Bartholomew

Grenadian Rondell Bartholomew ran the fastest time in the world so far this year when he clocked a personal best at the Texas Tech Invitational in Lubbock, Texas on Saturday.
Bartholomew quickly made up the stagger on the field on his way to running a school (South Plains College) and stadium record time of 44.65 seconds. The time bettered Latoy Williams' school mark of 44.73 seconds set in 2009.

In the women’s race, Janelle Redhead, another Grenadian, the NJCAA indoor 400m champion, was sixth in 55.80 seconds.

The men's 4x100 meter relay team of Niko Williams-Richey, Isaiah Gill, John Thomas, and Bartholomew came up just short of breaking the 2009 school record when they finished with a first place time of 39.89 seconds.
