Horsford calls for Bristol’s resignation

Friday October 31st, 2008: Shadow Minister for Legal Affairs Hon. Dwight Horsford is calling for the resignation of the Attorney General Jimmy Bristol.

Horsford says he is making this call following what he described as a political charade when Bristol called on the former Prime Minister Dr.The Rt. Hon Keith Mitchell to step down from parliament on the basis that he is a United States citizen.

According to Horsford, the action of Bristol is yet another attempt by him and his administration to harass and attack the former Prime Minister at any cost and to mislead the nation.

Horsford believes that Bristol must also apologize to the nation for giving support to Jack Grynburg to sue Grenada for $500 Million United States Dollars, which he was prepared to have his government pay in tough economic times if Grynberg had won the case against former Energy Minister Gregory Bowen.
