Grenadian PM concludes official visit to China

GUANGZHOU, June 21 (Xinhua) -- Grenadian Prime Minister Tillman Thomas left here on Sunday, concluding his week-long official visit to China.

Thomas arrived in south China's Guangdong Province on Saturday. During a meeting with the provincial governor Huang Huahua, Thomas said that Grenada hopes to enhance cooperation with China in agriculture, especially in small farm tool utilization. He also called on measures to tackle problems in air transport and welcomed more Chinese tourists to visit the Caribbean and Grenada.

Apart from Guangdong Province, Thomas also visited Beijing and east China's Jiangxi Province. While in Beijing, Thomas met with his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao, and Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. He also delivered a speech at the China Foreign Affairs University.
